PRORETA is the collaborative research project between TU Darmstadt and Continental AG, which aims to develop an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) for improving safety and driving comfort.

PRORETA 4 is the continuation of PRORETA 1 (2002-2006), 2 (2006-2009) and 3 (2011-2014). On this fourth edition of PRORETA, our group collaborates with the Automotive Engineering group (Prof. Winner) and Control Methods and Robotics group (Prof. Adamy). With the guiding theme “Safety through Learning”, PRORETA 4 focuses on incorporating machine learning technology into ADAS to improve safety and comfort for driver and occupants.

The environment- and driver-awareness are undertaken by Control Methods and Robotics group (Prof. Adamy), our group is responsible for machine learning approach and Automotive Engineering group (Prof. Winner) is responsible for the function and architecture development
